Brand History
Steven Lagos learned the art of jewelry when he was a teenager at the foot of an eighty-five year old jeweler. He took this knowledge and applied it himself, and founded the "Lagos" company in 1977.
Lagos' wife, Ann (a graduate from the Philadelphia School of Art--they met at a tradeshow in 1984) joined the company soon after they met. Today there are now almost a hundred artisans working in the Lagos headquarters. The company is still located in Philadelphia's Rittenhouse Square. Jewelry can be bought directly from the Lagos store in Philadelphia, some upscale department stores, and independent jewelers nationwide.
