This grilling tool has it all: electronic cooking timer with alarm; digital clock; utility knife; bottle opener; bright LED light to check doneness. The bottle opener alone is worth the price. Okay, perhaps the thermometer is a little more useful. I don't know why, but I feel an almost uncontrollable urge to have a beer while I'm grilling. I'm not the type that typically succumbs to these sorts of societal cliches, but something about sitting there and waiting for the food to cook while being tethered to the spot, coupled with the impracticality of reading due to the frequent interruptions, makes me think that beer makes more sense. You can read a beer as well as you can a book, if it's a good one and you're paying attention. That's my two cents for the day. |
