Mechanical Paper Shredder

Besides the price I’m wondering why a person would choose this mechanical shredder over a standard electric one. It’s probably quieter than the electric versions which is convenient for discreet shredding when those with roving eyes and eavesdropping ears are in the vicinity. Now that I think about it, it could be therapeutic. I know some people who like to tear paper when nervous so I could see this is as a more efficient channel for your nervous tics. Better than chewing on the paper, which I have also seen and the detritus from that habit is nasty! |via Geekologie|
