Style - November 10 2006New Collection from Nooka9
Nooka has recently launched a stylish new collection that may change the way you think about this company's watch design. We figured it was about time to put together a Nooka wiki brand profile page, which we have done, and we'll take a line to remind you that Nooka has come on board as a judge (and has donated a prize) for our ongoing wiki contest. The brand's new Zub collection, which we first saw at Project in August, adds a vibrant touch of life to the strong, rigid designs that came before it. The primary twist comes in the use of a variety of colors--including red, orange, blue, and yello--in addition to black and white models. A more fluid form adds an increased lightness to the watch, unexpectedly broadening the scope of what the brand has to offer. By: cory o'malley |

I've been eyeing this watch for quite awhile now and I really love the simple design on it. But awhile back I was eyeing their ZOT-V which I was planning to buy when I needed a new watch... But I ended up buying a digital watch from Vestal (www.vestalwatch.com) which I completely love to death.. and get a lot of compliments from :D. But.. most likely i'll be getting the Zub Zot since it's half cheaper than their original stuff. :) |

Looks like a cool and innovative design. My only thought is that it seems to make more sense that WHITE dots and line should indicate the time, not the harder to see and register gray. for example, the picture seems to indicate that the time is 4:30. However, if the white/gray was reversed, the readability would be increased. -SparkBugg.com |

Nice watch! Is Nooka giving this one away for a wiki contest prize? |

We're keeping the prizes from each company involved under wraps until that company's leg of the contest comes up. Bear in mind that a Modern Amusement gift certificate is currently available through the end of this month. |
